1. SPLASH CYCLE ON THE ROOTOP
Monday, June 19, 2017, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Did you know Splash Cylcle, D.C. is the first Aqua Cycling class in the area? Whether you love water, cycling, or are the adventurous type looking for something new, Splash Cycle D.C. is the place you need to be. This group class offers the perfect summer workout right on a rooftop. Expect a typical spin class with a twist — submerged in water using the resistance from the water to tone your body for an optimal workout. Learn more here.

2. ANNUAL CENA BIANCA: WHITE DINNER
Wednesday, June 21, 2017, 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The annual White Dinner is back! This event celebrates the longest day of the year and the Solstice under the fading summer light with a White Dinner on the Piazza at i Ricchi. Come dressed in all-white and bring a white accessory like a hat, flower, candelabra, or even a dog. Are you woke? Are you conscious? Is your melanin popping? Would you like to become more woke or conscious? Do you truly know what’s going on in the world around you? 4. DC FEST 2017
Thursday, June 22, 2017, 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Guess who’s back? DC Fest is back featuring White Ford Bronco! They’ll be getting down at the Fairgrounds with their annual summer party celebrating innovators, startups, and companies that call DC home. Hey, Queens! The #SheHIVE team brings greetings from She Leads Africa. Their time in DC has finally come. 6. HOOKIE DC: THE ULTIMATE CARIBBEAN POOL PARTY

The Ultimate Caribbean Pool Party has returned to the DMV! Who doesn’t love a nice pool party in the summer? Better yet, a pool party that’s only bumping the hottest Caribbean music? If you’re looking for a fun and creative way to spend some time with your favorite girlfriends, this Sip and Sew is right up your alley! Come create the cutest little roll down clutch and guess what? 8. DANCE THE ROYAL BEAT: AFROBEATS DANCE FITNESS CLASS
Saturday, June 24, 2017, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Join Dance The Royal Beat as they kick off their summer classes. Get ready to bring the heat and dance until you drop, Afrobeats style. DTRB is an Afrobeats dance-fitness company that provides an experience in which attendees will drip sweat while moving to African music. Their classes are like the African version of Zumba. 9. THE COOKOUT
Saturday, June 24, 2017, 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Jacq Jill is proud to present the The Cookout, a three-part summer series that highlights some of the strongest creatives in the District. Each Cookout will combine two separate collectives for the ultimate artistic confluence, giving you poolside audiovisual realness. The Embassy Row will be serving delicious food and drinks while DJs provide the perfect sun-soaking-pool-floating soundtrack. Come float away with them. 10. 25TH GIANT NATIONAL CAPITAL BARBECUE BATTLE
Saturday, June 24, 2017, – Sunday, June 25, 2017, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle is celebrating its 25th year. It has become one of the largest and most unique food and music festivals in the country. Celebrating the art of cooking and the joy of eating, the Barbecue Battle offers residents of the Greater Washington, DC area and throughout the east coast the chance to enjoy America’s favorite pastime.
