1. #LITEWORKAFTERWORK SUMMER ’17 MIXER

2. CREATIVE ECONOMY CAFÉ NIGHT @ RIC
Tuesday, June 20, 2017, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The monthly Café Nights @ RIC are energetic and dynamic events where innovators and entrepreneurs can find one another and collaborate to bring their dreams to reality. Learn more here.

3. JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION AT THE MFA
Wednesday, June 21, 2017, 5:00 p.m. –10:00 p.m.
Come together to celebrate creativity, community, and freedom at the MFA’s fifth annual Juneteenth event. Explore the galleries on a tour of the museum’s collection of art by African American artists. The artwork focuses on the exhibition featuring two prominent artists, Wilson and Cortor. Join local visual artists, poets, and musicians, for one of a kind demonstrations and performances. You can also catch a screening from this year’s Roxbury International Film Festival, which is the largest New England film festival dedicated to celebrating films by, for, and about people of color. 4. 420PAINT X SMOKE/LIVE MUSIC SHOW
Thursday, June 22, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Join them for another Paint and Smoke Event with live music performances. A the event they’ll be recreating a Frandy Suero Art original, “A Bob Marley Tribute.” The canvas will be prepared with a sketch of the drawing. All you have to do is paint it with all of the colors you want. They’ll provide the paint and brushes. Don’t forget to bring cash to buy from vendors. You are allowed to bring your own weed to this event. Learn more here.

5. CELEBRATION OF SUMMER IV: DONNA SUMMER ROLLER DISCO PARTY
Friday, June 23, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Get your groove on at the 4th annual roller disco party honoring five-time Grammy winner and Boston native, Donna Summer! Celebration of Summer IV will feature a performance by Mary Gaines Bernard. Music will be provided by New England’s Finest, DJ Roy Barboza. Appearances by O’Mega Red and members of Donna Summer’s family. Try out your roller disco moves on the skating rink! If you don’t have your own skates, the City of Boston will be providing free rentals on a first come, first serve basis. Learn more here.

Join Queens Co. as they wine their waistlines to Afro-Caribbean tunes with choreography led by Marie Andre of MaDarling Dance and Amenze Enoma of Queens Co. Following dance class, they’ll serve a healthy brunch as Nutritionist Joanne Dorgilus from Queens Co. leads a workshop on how to incorporate more healthy eating habits into your diet. 8. BLM CAMBRIDGE SYMPOSIUM

BLM Cambridge is hosting a daylong symposium focused on achieving racial justice and social equity in the Metro-North and beyond. Keynote speakers include BLM Co-Founder, Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Executive director of the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, Elle Hearns, and DiDi Delgado.
