1. TACO TUESDAY AT INDIGO
Tuesday, June 13, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Indigo at Midtown is hosting Afro-Latin night this Tuesday, starting at 6:00 p.m. Come out for free salsa and Kizomba lessons, happy hour margaritas, beeritas and a $5 taco bar. Learn more here.

2. THE ROUNDTABLE CONVO
Thursday, June 15, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
The Roundtable Convo, a happy hour style open dialogue about today’s relevant topics, is partnering with the Houston Museum of African American Culture for a discussion on gentrification. Network and socialize from 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. Then, join the conversation at 7:15 p.m. Learn more here.

3. FOOD FOR SOUL OPEN MIC NIGHT
Thursday, June 15, 2017, 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Presented by Sway Productions, Food for Soul is an experience for emerging poets, musicians, songwriters, hip-hop artists, comedians and vocalists to showcase their talent. You’ll be entertained by rising artists, a live band,and saxophone player Rashad Maybell. Learn more here.

4. THE NEXT UP TOUR
Friday, June 16, 2017, 9:00 p.m. – until
Live art, poetry, and hip-hop meet this Friday at The Studio at Warehouse Live. Hosted by ConglomeART, a promotional tour for new artists, the night will feature fresh talent, special guest DJs and much more. Learn more here.

5. EMANCIPATION PARK GRAND RE-OPENING
Saturday, June 17, 2017, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Celebrate Juneteenth at the Emancipation Park grand re-opening. Start the morning off with the re-dedication ceremony, followed by the 44th annual parade and Freedom Fest. Learn more here.

6. FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL IN THE HEIGHTS
Saturday, June 17, 2017, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Join the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce for their first food truck festival, featuring local trucks like Chubbz Grubbz, The Cajun Spot Food Truck, Rita’s of Houston Heights and SMOOSH Cookies. Plus, enjoy live music from Tianna Hall and The Houston Jazz Band. Learn more here.

7. BAR CRAWL FOR THE CULTURE
Saturday, June 17, 2017, 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
A Savage Experience and Crown Royal present the second volume of Bar Crawl For The Culture. Stroll down Emancipation Avenue with stops at Status Bar, Sapphire Ultra Lounge and Live Oak Bar & Grill. 8. NAABW HOUSTON CHAPTER LAUNCH MIXER

10. THE DOPE ART SHOW
