1. TASTING TUESDAYS WITH YLC
Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
For this class, host Robert Haynes has created a custom class specifically for the Young Leadership Council that he has never offered before. Your pallet will be privy to 6 different wine selections of unique and intense flavors from around the world, along with the proper food selection for each. Learn more here.

2. YLC WEDNESDAYS AT THE SQUARE
Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
YLC Wednesday at the Square is a free, 12-concert music series in the heart of the Central Business District. Proceeds from food and drink sales will benefit the Young Leadership Council’s community service projects, designed not only to improve the quality of life in the Greater New Orleans area but also to foster leadership skills in young professionals. Learn more here.

3. CHAPTER SOUL PRESENTS: KANYE’S UNIVERSE
Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Live music is a big thing here in NOLA. Chapter SOUL is a 4-piece modern funk and soul band that takes New Orleans funk and soul to a new level, re-imagining classic tunes with modern sounds and innovative arrangements. Watch them live at Three Keys at Ace Hotel. Learn more here.

4. ITS’ LIT: A 4/20 COMEDY POP UP SHOW

5. SIPPIN IN SEERSUCKER

The Tipping Point is a weekly hangout spot for young professionals to unwind from the week and bring on a weekend of fun. Sounds will be provided by the hometown hero, DJ RQ Away. Learn more here.

7. GLASS HOUSE DAY PARTY
Saturday, April 22, 2017, 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

9. PJ MORTON CD RELEASE PARTY

R&B singer and piano-playing member of Maroon 5 has a CD titled “Gumbo,” and all are invited to Tipitina’s to sample the album in his hometown of New Orleans. Learn more here.

10. GETUPNRIDE COMMUNITY BIKE FEST
Sunday, April 23, 2017, 12:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m.
The 1st Annual GetUpNRide Community BikeFest will be an event unlike anything this city has ever seen. There will be live band music performances, great local food, best bike contests, local merchandise vendors, activities for the kids, and more. This event is a celebration of the growing bike community and will bring attention to the minority-owned-businesses on the historical Bayou Road. Learn more here.
