For a third year I DON’T DO CLUBS is excited to tell you about Camp Bonfire, an all-inclusive, weekend-long summer camp for adults.
I DON’T DO CLUBS readers like you enjoy uncommon events and new experiences. At Camp Bonfire, you can try activities like archery, canoeing, mosaic making, craft cocktail mixology, Taekwondo, yoga, acrobatics and kickball. Or you can relax in a hammock by the lake with a new book.
Camp Bonfire takes all of the stress out of escaping the city for the weekend.
At Camp Bonfire you can enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of nature the easy way. You can drive or take the camp coach bus from New York or Philadelphia. All campers sleep in cabins with full bathrooms. Included in your registration are six delicious meals, drinks and all the activities. The counselors are not only skilled activity leaders, they’re also dope community builders who create a weekend where it’s easy to link with new people and feel comfortable getting free on the dance floor.
Camp Bonfire’s nightlife is free of overcrowded, overly complicated and overpriced (there is nowhere to spend $ at camp) clubs.
On the first night you can sip craft cocktails from Black Button Distillery or beer from Brooklyn Brewery under the stars and around the bonfire. While enjoying s’mores you can reminisce about the day with your friends or strike up a conversation with any of Camp Bonfire’s friendly (and attractive) campers and staff.
On the second night you can be apart of or watch the always entertaining talent/no talent show. Seasoned singers, dancers, comedians and storytellers meet balloon animal makers, bad joke tellers and first time performers.
After the show, dance the night away on the spacious basketball court turned dance floor with DJ Lil’Dave from the legendary illvibe collective. DJ Lil’Dave’s collection of Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Reggae, House, Salsa, Dance Floor Classics and Afrobeat makes for an eclectic and memorable night on the dance floor.
Camp Bonfire has two weekend-long sessions, one in June and one in September. Spaces are limited and tickets are cheaper the earlier you buy them. Check out their website and register today.
