1. DINNER WITH THE DOC

3. DEEP ELLUM ARTS FESTIVAL
Friday, April 7, 2017 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. – Sunday, April 9, 2017, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Six blocks of Main Street in the Deep Ellum entertainment district will be transformed into one enormous street festival. Featuring 200 top-notch decorative and visual artists, 150 original bands and singer/songwriters performing from six different stages and two additional performance areas, the renowned Pet Parade, and enticing foods and drinks. Festival attendees can stroll through and admire displays of cutting-edge decorative arts and commission. You can also purchase the works of sculptors, muralists, jewelers, painters, leather and wood crafters, as well as other specialized fine artists, some of whom will be creating original pieces on the spot. 4. FRIDAY NIGHT BLOCK PARTY
Friday, April 7, 2017, 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Summer, summer, summertime! Pull up at the Dallas Farmers Market every Friday as they bust in to the weekend. Expect live music, games, drink specials, and plenty of fresh seafood. Think of this as a cool, chill night when you want to go out, but not to the club. Learn more here

5. MO’NIQUE LIVE 
Friday, April 7, 2017, 8:00 p.m.
She’s been off the scene for a while now but let’s not pretend she didn’t use to have us weak. Mo’nique’s performing live at the Addison Improv bringing it back to her comedic roots. She’s done stand up comedy, television, film and literature. On the real, not many can say they have done that much in her realm. Check her out and see what’s up for yourself. Learn more here.

6. VINCE STAPLES @ SOUTH SIDE MUSIC HALL

If you like rappers with actual bars, then you might like Vince Staples. The West coast representer paints vivid pictures with his words and never disappoints. 7. DALLAS ISD JOB FAIR
Saturday, April 8, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
If you love the kids, this event is for you. Dallas ISD gives talented educators the chance to become the kind of teachers that’ll make a difference for kids in the Dallas community. 8. DFW CRAWFISH SOCIETY LAUNCH EVENT

10. ARIANA GRANDE @ AMERICAN AIRLINES CENTER

Let’s not sit here and act like this girl can’t sing, because she really can. This pop princess is stopping in Dallas for her Dangerous Woman Tour doing what she does best, singing. She’s only 23-years-old and has built her music and TV career up to be a legendary household name in her generation. Don’t sleep on her. Learn more here.
