4. BLACK JOY + ART

The Museum of the African Diaspora (MOAD) Vanguard has been on a roll this year. They’ve consistently thrown some of the most thoughtful events and this one is no different. This three hour community healing space is meant to promote, practice and preserve self-love and black joy. Learn more here.
5. BEYONCE DANCE CLASS

James Alsop, one of Beyonce’s most renowned choreographers, will be in the Bay to teach a master class on the moves that have catapulted stars like Lady Gaga, Janelle Monae, and of course, Beyonce, to fame. Learn more here.
