1. WOMEN WHO LEAD WITH ANGELA DAVIS

Women Who Lead is a two-day conference designed to further enhance the leadership development of female students at FIU. This year’s keynote speaker, Angela Davis, will address how to create change by building communities of activism on both days of the conference. 2. LIBERTY SOUP

Magiazine’s back at Ice Cream Thursdays for the fourth installation of Magiazine Fair, an exhibition and craft market for artists, small press, indie publishers and creators of ‘zines, table reads and other self-published prints! 6. BLACK ARTIST TALK

This free Black Artist Talk is presented by Olujimi Dance Theater and moderated by Michelle Grant-Murray. Panelist include special guests — photographer Johanne Rahaman, visual artist Prince Aderele and choreographer/performer Shanna Woods. Black Artist Talk is a series of conversations where artists of the South Florida African diaspora community collectively come together to generate and discuss strategies surrounding issues of presenting, economics, resources, education, creativity, sustainability and viability.
