1. WOMEN WHO LEAD WITH ANGELA DAVIS
Tuesday, March 21, 2017- March 22, 2017, 8:30 a.m. – 1:50 p.m.
Women Who Lead is a two-day conference designed to further enhance the leadership development of female students at FIU. This year’s keynote speaker, Angela Davis, will address how to create change by building communities of activism on both days of the conference. This year’s conference session will center around the theme, “Be Your Own Superhero!” Learn more here.

2. LIBERTY SOUP
Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Come out to the FAU screening of the documentary of “Liberty in a Soup” and explore the historical events of what we’ve come to know as the Haitian Revolution and its worldwide impact. This event is free and open to the public. Learn more here.

3. GOOD VIBES AT BRICK WYNWOOD
Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Wednesday nights all roads lead to Brick Miami in Wynwood for the Ultimate weekly Caribbean event, where Afrobeat meets Soca meets Dancehall! The night features $5 Heineken and $6 Jack Daniels before 11:0 p.m. and free admission with RSVP. Learn more here.

4. DUBWISE MIAMI

DubWise Jamaica brings you authentic Roots, Dub & Reggae every Wednesday in the city of Miami. This week join other locals at Coyo Taco for good vibes and Roots music all night. Learn more here.

5. MAGIAZINE FAIR
Thursday, March 23, 2017, 9:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Magiazine’s back at Ice Cream Thursdays for the fourth installation of Magiazine Fair, an exhibition and craft market for artists, small press, indie publishers and creators of ‘zines, table reads and other self-published prints! The event features free entry with RSVP, free drinks for ladies from 10:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m., free Jameson-infused ice cream at midnight and free totes with RSVP and purchase of any prints! 6. BLACK ARTIST TALK
Friday, March 24, 2017, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
This free Black Artist Talk is presented by Olujimi Dance Theater and moderated by Michelle Grant-Murray. Panelist include special guests — photographer Johanne Rahaman, visual artist Prince Aderele and choreographer/performer Shanna Woods. Black Artist Talk is a series of conversations where artists of the South Florida African diaspora community collectively come together to generate and discuss strategies surrounding issues of presenting, economics, resources, education, creativity, sustainability and viability. 7. AFTER FIVE: SOUTH FLORIDA’S BLACK PROFESSIONAL MIXER
Friday, March 24, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
