1. THE 5TH ANNUAL VIRDIKO MUSIC + DJ NETWORKING EVENT

2. HIP-HOP BOOK CLUB

If you’re a music enthusiast, this one may be for you. Hip-Hop Book Club is a monthly organized discussion and debate on major musical contributions to hip-hop culture by various artists. It is an event designed to educate and entertain those who are heavily influenced by the culture. This week’s topic of discussion will be on Kendrick Lamar’s “Good Kid, m.A.A.d City” album. This place is where ideas, collaborations and connections are made. Think Tank is a bi-weekly co-working gathering that allows any and everyone to come together and really just think of ways on how to progress as a people, within the business sector and beyond. 4. DOLLS + DANDIES SOCIAL SOIREE

Black bloggers in the building. Kick off spring with a night of socializing and networking. Join the ever dapper Black Dandies and glamorous Dallas bloggers at Tortaco. 7. FURIOUS THOUGHTS LIVE! DALLAS 
Saturday, March 25, 2017, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Kid Fury from the ever-so-popular podcast, ‘The Read’ is coming to Dallas! Fans have listened to him rant and “read” on such topics for several years, and on Saturday night, you get to hear one of his signature diatribes in person. Nothing but tea will be spilled. Learn more here.

8. THE GLITZ + GLAMOUR GALA
Saturday, March 25, 2017, 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Treasured Vessels Foundation black tie event will truly be an evening of glitz and glamour. As a community, come together to learn about the issue of child sex trafficking in our area, and what you can do to help. The funds raised will help build long-term, trauma informed care, safe houses for up to 60 adolescent girls, as young as 11 years old, who are victims of sex trafficking in our area. Cocktails, red carpet and silent auction begin at 7:00 p.m., with seated dinner, live auction, and a keynote speaker 8:30 p.m. Learn more here. 

9. AIDS WALK SOUTH DALLAS 
Saturday, March 25, 2017, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Engage, educate, empower. The community of South Dallas is hosting an AIDS walk to empower persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS with emphasis on homosexual men. This effort will serve as an aid for prevention, advocacy, education, peer support and emergency financial assistance. Donations are accepted as well as volunteers. Learn more here.

10. CAM’RON @ TREES
Saturday, March 25, 2017, 9:00 p.m.
You’re boy is back, pink fur and all. Check out Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum-selling rapper Cam’ron in Dallas, back with a vengeance. He’s been able to remain relevant through the years like when he told Anderson Cooper he wouldn’t snitch on a hypothetical serial killer neighbor. He is a NY legend and always ready to prove it.
