1. GOOD VIBES AT BRICK WYNWOOD
Wednesday, February 15, 2017, 8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

4. THE BLACK CANVAS PARTY
Friday, February 17, 2017 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Come out to a BYOB paint and sip party in Historic Overtown! The ticket includes art supplies, canvas, access to an art teacher and music. Ticket proceeds will be donated to the fund to develop the new Miami Museum of Contemporary Art of the African Diaspora. Learn more here.

5. CELEBRATE BLACK EXCELLENCE
Friday, February 17, 2017, 6:00 p.m. –  10:00 p.m.
Come out to “Celebrate Black Excellence” and support Black Businesses for Black History Month at 1st Klass Café and Lounge. Several black business owners will be in attendance showcasing their products and services, while you enjoy Happy Hour specials and network with tons of Black Professionals from across South Florida. 6. MACY’S CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Saturday, February 18, 2017, 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Join Host Ashlee K. Thomas from MUCE and Hip – Hop vocalist/Spoken Word Artist Kamau for a special performance! In addition, the Miami – Dade County Black Advisory Board is invited to discuss the local and national impact of Black Art, Expression and Culture in Miami. 7. LADY BOOKWORM X YEELEN GALLERY PRESENTS THE LITERARY SERIES
Saturday, February 18, 2017, 4:00 p.m. –  6:00 p.m.
Lady Bookworm x Yeelen Gallery Presents The Literary Series, a bi-monthly event that highlights authors who are discussing social issues in today’s time. Join Lady Bookworm for an open forum which will discuss various topics ranging from neo-liberalism to new slavery with author of Soundless Cries Don’t Lead to Healing, Valencia D. Clay. 8. AFRIKAN: HEALING OUR NATION

AFRIKIN is a celebration of history, culture, people – us. The night will feature a live musical performance by Grammy-nominated Haitian outfit, Boukman Eksperyans, with their captivating Haitian Roots Music (Rasin), and a spoken word performance by Jamaican dub poet, actor, and educator, Mutabaruka. Kola Champagne Presents WAYUP STAYUP, an evening of good music, vibes, and more. Kola Champagne is a Miami based creative collective, founded by Silent Addy, with an aim to bring the bashment party vibe to all creative endeavors and to put a refreshing spin on the Reggae, and Dancehall experience. 10. THE SOUTH FLORIDA BLACK BUSINESS DIRECTORY RELEASE PARTY
Sunday, February 19, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.  
Come out and celebrate the highly anticipated release of the Official South Florida Black Business Directory, a directory that will lists hundreds of Black Owned Businesses based in the South Florida region. This celebration will highlight the efforts of the Black Business owners, influencers, and community leaders that made this initiative possible. The event features music by Hot 105 DJ Bigh Man Kelly, Jazz Soul performance by Saxophonist Keenan P., food by Chef Chad Cherry, and drinks sponsored by Jack Daniels. Learn more here.
