1. KING + QUEEN OF HEARTS WORLD TOUR WITH MAXWELL AND MARY J. BLIDGE
Monday, December 12, 2016, 7:00 p.m.
Maxwell and Mary J. Blidge will tour together for The King and Queen of Heart Tour. The tour will bring some of the most soulful sounds together on one stage. Learn more here.

2. THE MUSES AT SOUL LOUNGE
Tuesday, December 13, 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
The Muses at Soul Lounge is open to singers, musicians, poets and comedians for an open mic. Learn more here.

3. THIRD THURSDAYS AT NELSON-ATKINS MUSEUM OF ART
Thursday, December 15, 2016, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

5. JINGLE AND JAM

The Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce will host their annual holiday party with a DJ, appetizers and cash bar. Learn more here.

6. RIVER MARKET FOOD TOUR
Saturday, December 17, 2016, 9:00 a.m.
Explore the River Market neighborhood through your taste buds. This two hour walking tour is the best way to connect with Kansas City. Learn more here.

7. BARLEY BUS: BREWERY TOUR
Saturday, December 16, 2016, 6:30 p.m.
The Barley Bus takes you on a tour of Kansas City’s craft beer scene. Guests get an opportunity to visit several breweries, sample beer and learn about the brewing process. Not a beer fan? There are distillery and winery tours too. Learn more here.

8. CITY MARKET FARMER’S MARKET
Saturday, December 17-Sunday, December 18, 2016 – 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
At the City Market Farmer’s Market you will find fresh produce from Missouri and surrounding areas. More than 140 vendors sell plants, fruits, vegetables, meats, herbs and baked goods. Learn more here.
