1. MCA TALK: KIMBERLY DREW AND RASHAYLA MARIE BROWN
Tuesday, December 13, 2016, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Kimberly Drew, author of the popular Tumblr blog Black Contemporary Art, joins artist and scholar Rashayla Marie Brown for a conversation about photography and bearing witness in the age of social media. 2. RED BULL SOUND SELECT PRESENTS: CHICAGO FT. THE COOL KIDS
Wednesday, December 14, 2016, 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Red Bull Sound Select is a monthly music showcase curated by local tastemakers. This installment will be at Thalia Hall and feature three Chicago phenoms Femdot, Payroll Giovanni and The Cool Kids. RSVP today for $3 entry. Learn more here.

3. HO HO HO SHOW AT TOWNSHIP
Thursday, December 15, 2016, 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Local emcee Ash Wednesday, alongside MFN Melo, Hank McCoy and others will be hosting a Christmas show down at Township. Come out and enjoy some good music to kick off your holiday. Doors open at 8:00 p.m with vibes from DJs Stepchild & Squeak Pivot. Learn more here.

4. PUSH BEATS MONTHLY – 12.15.16
Thursday, December 15, 2016, 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Chicago’s premier beat scene collective returns for their monthly installment at Door No. 3! A night of beats, hip-hop and live PA featuring a stacked lineup consisting of King Hippo, Krushlove, Megiapa and so many other great beat makers. The show starts at 9:00 p.m. and everyone’s free before 11:00 p.m. Learn more here.

5.THROWBACK THURSDAY W/ RON CARROLL
Thursday, December 15, 2016, 11:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.
Legendary house DJ, producer and vocalist Ron Carroll, will be shutting down Disco Chicago for their Throwback Thursday event. This event is guest list only so please RSVP as soon as you can. Don’t miss out on a night of high quality disco. Learn more here.

6. NEWMOVES, 2016 – A LIVE CHOREOGRAPHIC COMPETITION
Friday, December 16, 2016 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
NewMoves 2016 is an interactive dance concert in which choreographers compete for audience votes by presenting their original choreographic works. The winning choreographer based entirely on audience votes is awarded $500.00 at the close of the concert. Audience members purchase votes (they’re really cheap) so bring your cash or check to Noumenon Dance Ensemble to show love and support. Learn more here.

7. GRAND FINAE FT. NETA BADD AND FRIEND’S
Friday, December 16, 2016, 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
Elephant-N-Da Room Entertainment brings you the year-end event of the year hosted by Neta Badd with DJ Dtain & DJ JT spinning the sauce. Come out to Miraj Restaurant to see Chicago legends Bo Deal, Sinatris, DJ Nero (Rap Factory) and more. Plus, G-Magic on the track will be celebrating his born day! 9. GOOD DEEDS HOLIDAY PARTY

Good Deeds Crew is hosting their first Good Deeds Holiday Drive party! There will be games, music, food and drink specials. They are also asking for all attendees to make a Holiday donation from the list for Homeless Young Adults from www.tlpchicago.org. Come out on the 18th for this free event at the Tip Top Inn! 10. B’LAQUE CHRISTMAS

And for the hair stylists out there, Dr. Laqueshon Harris is hosting a televised taping of B’Laque Christmas, an event featuring the hair stylings of Erick McGee using Remy Man Products.
