1. WINE’DOWN WEDNESDAY

2. #TOOFLYFUNDRAISER: DALLAS
Thursday, November 17, 2016, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Traveling is essential especially for us to see a world beyond our country’s borders. Come take flight with The Scheme Team, as they get lit for a cause and raise money to provide passports for students in need! Too Fly Passport Program Fundraiser is designed to help raise passport funding for deserving high school and college students. 3. BLACK AMERICA SINCE MLK + STILL I RISE SCREENING 
Thursday, November 17, 2016, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Have we really progressed as a nation? Hosted by KERA Morning Edition Host, Sam Baker, join KERA, the African American Museum of Dallas (Fair Park) and the South Dallas Cultural Center as we explore questions such as, “How far have we come toward racial equality since the civil rights era?” “How can we have a black President while events like Ferguson continue to occur?” Panel discussion will take place as well as music by jazz musician Roger Boykin. 4. DFW URBAN LEAGUE NATIONAL DAY OF EMPOWERMENT

When you mess with their money, they listen, or at least begin to pay attention. Don’t miss a great opportunity to learn how to claim the black spending power you have, and have the opportunity to learn about local businesses we can support right now. 5. DEEP ELLUM WINE WALK

Two years ago, Deep Ellum rolled out the red carpet for the neighborhood’s first wine walk, and history was made. 6. MAC MILLER @ THE BOMB FACTORY

His sound is actually pretty nice. Fresh from his latest project, The Divine Feminine, Mac Miller is still remaining pretty popular in his underground realm. Featuring artist such as Anderson.Paak and Kendrick Lamar on this project, he is showing that his fan base as well as respect within the industry is growing. Ayeeee! Take it way, way back with some of the livest artist we used to turn up to back in the day! Mystikal, Juvenile, 8Ball & MJG, Trick Daddy, Bun B and Scarface. 8. WIZ KHALIFA + D.R.A.M. @ THE BOMB FACTORY

Wiz is a brand. If you’re not a huge fan of his music, you can agree that he has created, or reiterated the movement Snoop Dogg, a movement and genre of his own. He keeps one rolled and cranking out music so see him live on stage should be lit – literally. Have you heard D.R.A.M.’s new project Big Baby D.R.A.M. ? It’s nice. 10. BRAVO! THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
