1. 2017 ART OF COOL PROJECT FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Monday, November 14, 2016, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
The Art of Cool Project will unveil its 2017 artist line up and festival programming at Beyú Caffé. The music festival is a three day celebration of jazz, alternative soul and hip-hop. Learn more here.

2. BILAL @ MOTORCO MUSIC HALL
Monday, November 14, 2016, doors open at 7:00 p.m., show begins at 8:00 p.m.
Motorco & Art of Cool present Grammy Award-winning artist Bilal. With classically-trained vocals, Bilal quickly rose in popularity after releasing his debut album, 1st Born Second in 2001, with popular single, “Soul Sista.” Since his debut album, he’s collaborated with industry icons like Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Erykah Badu. 4. GREATER DURHAM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BLACK BUSINESS FORUM
Tuesday, November 15, 2016, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Join the members of the Greater Durham Black Chamber of Commerce at their monthly meeting to discuss how to improve Durham’s black business economy. The event is free and open to the public. Learn more here.

5. SHAWTY “WHAT MY NAME IZ” COMEDY SHOW @ LATIN
Friday, November 18, 2016, 8:20 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Shawty “What My Name Iz?!” graces Raleigh with his eye-watering comedy. He is best known for his appearances on BET’s Comic View and MTV’s Wild ‘N Out. Learn more here.

6. BLAQUE OWT II – A BLACK AND DENIM AFFAIR
Saturday, November 19, 2016, 10:00 p.m. – Sunday, November 20, 2016, 2:00 a.m.
Celebrate 105 years of service with the Xi Mu Mu chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. A portion of proceeds will benefit their scholarship and community initiatives. The dress code is denim and black so plan your “fit” accordingly. Learn more here.

7. 2016 PINK ICE SCHOLARSHIP GALA
Saturday, November 19, 2016, 6:30 p.m. – Sunday, November 20, 2016, 12:00 a.m.
The Chi Rho Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, will host the 5th Annual Pink Ice Scholarship Gala at the North Raleigh Hilton Hotel. The gala will help raise funds to support community work on behalf of the organization’s CRO Community Foundation. Learn more here.

8. THE AGGIE-EAGLE FOOTBALL CLASSIC
Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, 2 p.m.

10. ‘Got To Be NC’ Competition Dining Series Finale
